Two of our MyLifeWerks team members attended the Promise Breakfast April, 25th. and they were very moved by the Mistress of Ceremonies:
Janet St. James. She is a current fighter-diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in Nov 2018 (there is no current cure).
The panel of experts were able to provide extensive information about cancer research and the use of funding provided by Susan G Komen.
One of the areas that we are most passionate about is early detection. The outreach programs supported by Susan G Komen in the DFW Area are able to provide screenings and reduce the late stage diagnosis and mortality rate experienced most highly in the African American population and the southern parts of Dallas County. We have several school communities that we support as a provider of retirement planning support services in these areas.
Please help us get the word out and add to our supporters: “We Are More Than Pink!” ( the battle cry-and the reason why the extra colors are represented: Research, Care, Community, Action).
